New intense efforts are underway via the
marketing staff of Schiller International
University.
Many more student fairs are being visited by Schiller representatives this year than have been in the past. Included in those fairs (some already past and some scheduled for the future) are in Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Turkey, China, Italy, Thailand, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Slovenia, Dominica, Ecuador, Columbia, Chile, Peru, Argentina and considerably more in the United States than in past years. Other areas are being considered. While this is going on, at the same time,
increased infrastructure is coming into place
to be better able to assist SIU representatives
with their needs and students who inquire.
Greatly enhanced software and increased numbers of Schiller employees are participating in follow up. A new view book will soon be completed and available for each campus and for representatives. A new Director of International Marketing will start working with the university in December. The Schiller web-site will be updated and improved within a few months. Much more is in the planning stages and Schiller International University is moving quickly toward what we believe to be a brighter future with more students and greater ability to assist them in their educational pursuits. |

The Co-op program combines studies and work
experience to prepare students for
leadership roles in today's global
environment. It offers students an
opportunity to learn more about their chosen
field, gain on-the-job experience and make
contacts for future full-time employment.
Co-op positions are paid internships and students in this program are required to participate in them. Students have an excellent opportunity to intern in hotels, tourism agencies, banks, business, technology and financial institutions in the Tampa bay area. Many multi national companies look for the expertise and knowledge that international students bring to their companies. Whether students plan to work in the USA or
work in their own country after graduation,
the Co-op program prepares them for unlimited
employment opportunities in global companies.
