Dear Schiller Alumni,
The Schiller Alumni Office wishes you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

The Heidelberg Campus Librarian and Alumni Manager, Ute Gleich, will be leaving her position after 10 years, and would like to thank you for the very good co-operation in the past. It was a pleasure working for Schiller International University but now it is time for new challenges.

Her successor, Andreas Heinemann, will be ready to assist you. Andreas has a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) from Fachhochschule Köln, and a Master in Modern History (MA). Andreas is looking forward to hearing from you.

Have a nice holiday season!
Best regards,

Ute Gleich & Andreas Heinemann
It is a pleasure to announce the marriage of our alumni Sabrina Mück & Jens Ortmann. Sabrina's new name is Sabrina Ortmann.
Their wedding took place in an igloo (!) in Kühtai,/Austria - but the warmth of the event with many friends, including Schiller alumni even from Moscow and Kunming,/China, faculty & staff - nearly melted the ice.

Sabrina & Jens first met virtually - in a Schiller online class. Then later at the Heidelberg campus - they became a couple, and after completing their MBA-degrees they founded their marketing company "openmindz" which works internationally with Schiller alumni, and has hired several Schiller students as interns.

Congratulations and the very best wishes to the newly weds - including a lot of children!!!
Tina McCusker Naber and Basem Abuyaghi are currently working on a Reunion Celebration that will take place in Heidelberg, Friday evening July 9th, 2010 - complete with dinner and dancing (adults only) and Saturday, July 10th 2010 for lunch (open to families). Mark your calendars now for a guaranteed great time!

Please forward this email to anyone that attended Schiller International University - Heidelberg or to any friends you met while studying there.
The Schiller College Alumni from Kleiningersheim and Bönnigheim would like to arrange a reunion next summer 2010.

Anyone who is interested should contact Ute Gleich, who is going to coordinate the visits to the Kleiningersheim Castle and the Bönnigheim Castle, which is a museum of primitive arts now.
More information and a fixed date will be posted in the next alumni newsletter (date-proposals are welcome).

With kind regards, Andreas Heinemann and Ute Gleich, Editors
