This year 6 friends from the class of 1992
re-connected and decided to reunite in
Heidelberg. We had the idea to walk to the
Thingstaette and rekindle our memories of our
wonderful time in Heidelberg. As we descended
down
the hill, we found ourselves on the steps of
Bergstrasse.
It was great to find Thomas Leibrecht and Ute Gleich there, willing to talk to us and show us around. It was fun to reminisce and to also see how things have changed. We remember our times here fondly and as we continue our lives in various parts of the world we thank Schiller International University for bringing us together once and keeping us together still. We regret to inform you of the passing
of Cindy Riedel.
Cindy lost her battle with cancer on April 10, 2009. She was very proud of her children (Grace, 21 and Spencer, 18) and her Schiller MBA. She and her husband Steve Riedel studied in London and Heidelberg, and earned their degrees in 1986. Steve works for the Department of Trade for the State of Minnesota. Schiller administration would like to offer their condolences. |
